Get in the spirit of the season with free, family fun at the 7th Annual Holidays on the Green at The Pinehills in Plymouth on Saturday, December 3rd! Holiday activities include something for everyone in the family. Enjoy Victorian carolers and costumed characters, march in the Reindog Parade, take pictures with Santa, sample some hot cider, decorate cookies and ornaments, and watch the lighting of the Christmas tree at the Village Green. There will be plenty of chances to catch up on your holiday shopping too!

Throughout the holiday season, The Shops at the Prudential Center have festive activities planned for the whole family.  From a gingerbread house contest to a world-record caroling attempt with Keith Lockhart, to a visit with Santa, Prudential Center will be glowing with holiday cheer for all!

DIY Magnetic Advent Calendars

Advent Calendars are a favorite holiday tradition in our home.  Whether it’s candy, tiny treats or even Legos (my boys’ favorite) behind those little door, the anticipation gets them out of bed extra early and extra happy throughout December!

Planning and setting the kids table for Thanksgiving is both fun an necessary in our house for the adults to enjoy a quiet{ish} meal on Turkey Day.  Keeping little hands occupied both before and during dinner is well worth the time it takes to put together a fun centerpiece and print off a few activity pages!  Here are a few ideas I’m using for inspiration this year:

Fall weather just screams for comfort food.  I mean, what better way to end the day than with homemade lasagna, macaroni & cheese, chicken pot pie, or beef stew, right?  One of my favorite fall meals is meatloaf paired with creamy mashed potatoes (yummmmm) so when I saw this recipe for Meatloaf Cupcakes with Mashed Potato Frosting, I just had to make them.  They’re delicious and adorable – cute comfort food!
