You can make these with regular muffin (or mini-muffin) tins, or get creative with shaped silicone molds (available at Michaels, Target, etc.). Just be warned that the crayons will leave a slight film on silicone, so be prepared to have the trays you use be solely for crafting going forward. Although tutorials on home made crayons are available all over the web, we liked this one from Our Best Bites.
Make crayons with holiday themes (hearts, shamrocks, bunnies, oh my!), create favors for your next party, or just whip some up on a rainy day at home. I mean, what child wouldn’t love to color with these?!
