Still looking for something to keep the kids busy this week? Faneuil Hall Marketplace has a lot going on during vacation week, from kid friendly juggling workshops to mom’s night out events including Boston’s Chili Cup, there is something for everyone!
Love Boston, Paint Boston: Do you love Boston? Are you interested in having your work displayed in the iconic Faneuil Hall Marketplace? If so, head down to Faneuil Hall Marketplace on Thursday February 21 & Friday February 22nd from 11am to 2pm to paint your favorite Boston scene. Whether you are an artists, painter, designer, kindergartner, high school senior or just LOVE Boston, you are invited to get involved. All participants will be given a canvas square and painting supplies so they can put their best work forward. Selected pieces laid out by local artists in one gigantic ‘Love Boston’ mural. The mural will be unveiled in the spring at Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
Street Theater Lunch & Learn: The Faneuil Hall Marketplace Street performers are some of the most talented street artists in the world. This Wednesday, Feb 20, you can have the opportunity to learn their tricks at the 1st Annual Street Theater Lunch & Learn. Kids of all ages are invited to Faneuil Hall Marketplace to workshops on juggling, acrobatics, magic tricks & more. Workshops will be held from 11am-2pm at Ned Devines. This event is open to all ages, kids under 12 eat free.
4th Annual Boston Chili Cup: A friendly Chili competition between local Boston restaurants to raise money for Community Work Services! Sponsored by Ned Devine’s, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Corona, Don Julio, Sysco & Trimark.
Winter Coast & Accessories Drive: Faneuil Hall Marketplace is hosting a Winter Coast & Accessories Drive to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters from Feb. 14- Feb. 24. Help adults and children in the area who are in need of warm outdoor clothing by bringing new and gently used coast, hats, gloves, mittens and scarves to any of the drop-off locations throughout the property.
In addition, there will be Street Theater performances every day throughout the marketplace. Non-stop entertainment to keep adults and kids alike entertained all week long!
