Boston Children’s Museum’s 100th Birthday Weekend Celebration

The Boston Children’s Museum is turning 100, and you’re invited to help celebrate!  The museum is throwing a birthday weekend bash, full of live music, performing arts, science, fitness, animals, a floating birthday cake, and more!  Join the party on October 4th to 6th, with different activities and entertainment each day.  Scheduled events include: 

Friday October 4th, 5-9pm
Music and dance party for all ages, including dance lessons, dance battles, a DJ battle, and a performance from the Boston Children’s Chorus.  Music by ICA DJ Collective, Urbanity Dance, Lil’ Phunk, and the Boston Children’s Chorus.

Saturday October 5th, (all day)
A day full of family friendly activities, including live animal presentations, KidStage plays, visiting artists, an outdoor National Grid Tinker Tent filled with science and hands-on activities, and live performers. The day ends with an “Up Too Late” a party for adults with music, dancing, improv, food and drink.

Sunday October 6th, 10:30am-5pm
More family fun, including visiting artists, Japanese tea ceremony workshops, live animals, Taiko drumming with Genki Spark, New Balance Games, Beantown Jumpers Double Dutch, martial arts with Wah Lum Kung-fu, ballet classes with Boston Ballet senior students and more.
