This Weekend – 8th Annual Stroller Stroll in Hanover

The Stroller Stroll returns to the Hanover Mall for a fun-filled day of music, food and activities for all! The money raised will be used to provide specialty equipment and services for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric programs at South Shore Hospital.

The 8th Annual Stroller Stroll, sponsored by the Friends of Growing Families of South Shore Hospital, will be held on Saturday, August 21 from 9:30am – 1:00pm, at the Hanover Mall.

Back to School: Reusable Sandwich and Snack Bags

In an effort to be more green this school year, I’m switching the kids from our usual plastic bags to reusable sandwich bags, hopefully saving money and doing a bit to save the planet at the same time. There are lots of great options out there for reusable bags, some Velcro, some zippered, and the plenty of patterns and styles to please all three of my kiddos!

Warning: The Department of Public Health has declared the following cities and towns at high risk for EEE, (Eastern equine encphalitis), a lethal viral disease spread by mosquitoes: Acushnet, Berkley, Bridgewater, Carver, Duxbury, Fairhaven, Freetown, Halifax, Kingston, Lakeville, Mattapoisett, Middleborough, New Bedford, Plympton, Raynham,
Rochester and Taunton. Surrounding towns are believed to be at moderate risk.
