Arrangements of Motions (Through June 23, 2013)
Bernie Zubrowski’s exhibit, Arrangements of Motions, features six interactive sculptures that each display different types of kinesthetic and perceptual effects. Bernie is an investigator, an award winning author and science educator, a researcher, a museum exhibit designer, an educator, an artist and, at his core, a persistent tinkerer. Bernie designed exhibits for 23 years at Boston Children’s Museum, creating both the iconic Bubbles and Raceways exhibits which have delighted children for decades and have been replicated in museums everywhere.

Adult-Child Dance Class with Urbanity teaching artist
10:30 AM Dance class with teachers from Boston’s contemporary dance company, Urbanity!, help children develop strong, limber and healthy bodies while having fun and meeting other children. This class is great for 2-3 year olds and their grown-ups.
Animal World Experience
11:00 Your Big Backyard, a program about animals you might see right around here
12:00 It’s Great to Communicate, a program about animal body language and other ways critters “talk” to us and each other.
Live Musical Performance: Super Cool Beans
Performances at 2:30pm and 6:00pm
These beans are ready to bounce with their interactive musical concert. All ages are welcome. The afternoon performance is targeted to younger children 0 – 6, and the evening performance to older children ages 5 – 10.
Hours and Admission
The Museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Fridays until 9:00 p.m. Adults, $14, children (1-15) and senior citizens, $14; children under 12 months and Museum members are always free. Fridays 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., all visitors pay $1.
