Summer Activities

cape069 Last week, during our family vacation down the Cape, we visited the Cape Cod Inflatable Park.  Besides the beach, it was one of the highlight of our vacation, according to the kids.  They spent almost 5 hours sliding, jumping, climbing, and most of all laughing.  It’s a must see if you’re near Yarmouth!  {keep reading…}


One of the items on our Summer Bucket List that I had been really looking forward to was a trip out to Georges Island.  I hadn’t been there since my 4th grade field trip, and couldn’t wait to show this local gem to my own children.  The ferry ride through the harbor, exploring the halls of Fort Warren, what a great summer adventure!

patsplace037 Every summer, starting at the end of July, and running through the beginning of August, the New England Patriots hold Training Camp in Foxboro, paired with a FREE Fan Zone experience for the kids.  We go every year, and the kids LOVE it!  {keep reading…}


canobie2012eWhile Canobie Lake Park was a lot of fun when I was a kid, visiting it as a mom is almost better.  Whether it’s giggling with my 5-year-old on the teacups, or watching with pride as my 4th grader conquers his nerves and braves the Corkscrew Coaster, the memories we make at Canobie give it a place at the top of our Summer Bucket List each year.   {keep reading…}


Our trip to Tree-Berry Farm in Scituate was another big success this year.  We were lucky to get a nice cool day to go picking, the farm was busy but not too crowded, and we came home with 8 pounds of berries!

The next big question is…. what to make with all these beautiful berries?!  After a few hours on Pinterest, I have more recipes that I can possibly make (but it will be fun trying).  Here are a few ideas…  check out the rest of our pins here.
